            COURSE CONTENT

            Yoga Practice

            • 200HR YTT. Each morning begins with pranayama and meditation, followed by a guided yoga practice of either hatha, vinyasa or ashtanga yoga. There are also evening classes and 2x week aerial, acro and yin yoga.
            • 300HR YTT. Each week focuses on one style each week to give you deeper more specialised knowledge: 1) aerial yoga 2) ashtanga vinyasa yoga 3) yin yoga and restorative yoga. You also receive classes on acro and SUP yoga. Each module is offered as a 50 hour training, which may be joined by other students. 

            Analytics

            Receive detailed explanation of core yoga poses and sequences. Learn about their common foundation and how to build upon it in order to achieve correct alignment and technique. Learn modifications to accommodate different levels, serve special needs and achieve advanced variations.

            Teaching Practice

            Learn teaching skills, cueing, sequencing, corrections and adjustments. Practice teaching everyday and design original classes. Receive detailed feedback and become a confident instructor.

            Workshops

            Special classes include SUP yoga, yoga for injuries, hands on adjustments, transitions, sequencing, class design, prenatal yoga, advanced pranayama and meditation techniques, working with props and more.

            Anatomy

            Gain a deeper understanding of bodily systems, structures and principles underlying each movement and of yoga itself. See how specific muscles respond to the movements of the joints with biomechanics; how the spine, breathing and body positions are all fundamentally linked.

            Philosophy

            Discover your true self and deeper nature of reality through the sacred wisdom of ancient yogic philosophy. Learn to apply these lessons in the real world to cultivate a holistic lifestyle. Topics include the vedas, yoga sutras, Bhagavad Gita, 8 limbs, nature of self/soul, nadis, chakras, consciousness, karma, gunas, ego, tantra and more.

            ONSITE & ONLINE STUDIES

            You can work hard and complete all your hours onsite, or take your time and do half your studies online, or mix it up to customise a training to best suit your needs.

            Onsite

            In order to complete this course in person you will work on average 12 hours a day: 7 hours of studio practice and lectures, 3 hours of meal time lectures, 2 hours of group study, self study. Plus other yogic lifestyle activities like beach meditation, sauna excursion and ecstatic dance. Plus there are several 15-20 min breaks throughout the day.

            Online & Onsite

            Another option is to do half of your training in onsite and the other half online, which includes videos covering all topics, physical practice, readings and quizzes on Thinkific. You can complete these studies before or after your on site training, and take up to one year to finish. You will also have optional bonus daily live classes on Zoom 2pm GMT +3.

            Beach

            Everyday includes a fabulous free trip somewhere. There are so many wonderful beaches to explore! Bingin beach, Dreamland beach, Balagan beach, Padang beach, Thomas beach.

            Bonfire

            Each night there is a bonfire for relaxing, enjoying each others company, meditating, reading, journaling, chanting kirtan, playing music, dancing around, drinking tea and gazing at the stars. On some nights there is a proper ceremony of settings intentions and sharing, but most night are just for chilling out :) 

            Dance

            Enjoy a very special ecstatic dance experience with UV lights and feathers. These tools are highly liberating and allow you to bloom with uninhibited self-expression. Combine this with yoga and your body will experience a total rebirth of dynamic movement and liberation.

            Sauna

            This course includes one free entry to the luxurious Istana sauna, a world class detox and wellness centre overlooking the gorgeous Uluwatu coastline. The Istana features an infrared sauna, dry sauna, steam sauna, hot plunge, cold plunge and infinity pool. Additional treatments include cryotherapy, sensory deprivation tank, hyperbaric chamber and more. Buy a monthly pass and go everyday!

            LOCATION

            Bingin Beach, Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful parts of Bali with stunning limestone cliffs, turquoise waters and world famous surfing. Bingin is a hip little village like Ubub with bohemian vibes, posh cafes, boutique shops and live music all within walking distance. Bingin also has fresh clean air and far less traffic than Ubud and Canggu!

            The shala is located at Purnama Bodyworks, a huge beautiful space, quiet, private, surrounded by nature, just 5 minutes walk to several great restaurants and shops, and just a 10 minute walk to the beach.

            ACCOMMODATION

            Bingin Lodge is a delightful resort across the street from the yoga shala. There are 18 rooms, a beautiful swimming pool, gardens all around. The rooms are spacious and clean with large comfy beds, a.c., flat screen TV, private bathroom, toiletries, daily cleaning. The lobby has a pool table and other games. There is a back terrace to hang out after class for relaxing, self-practice, dancing, study and bonfire ceremonies.

            There are dozens of amazing accommodation options nearby for all budgets ranging from cheap dorms to luxury villas to beachfront bungalows. You can book a package with ULU Yoga at Bingin Lodge or just pay tuition $3799 and reserve your own accommodation.

              Packages with accommodation include a delicious vegan smoothie bowl for breakfast, which can be modified for any dietary needs. For lunch and dinner you can sign up for onsite vegan catering, starting at just $3/meal. The shala also has a small kitchen where we will host some Ayurvedic cooking classes.

              ULU stands for Universal Love and Understanding. Since 2014 ULU Yoga has trained thousands of new instructors in Thailand and Bali and online. ULU Yoga strives to be creative, fun and unique while still honouring the sacred wisdom of traditional yoga.

              Certificate

              ULU Yoga is a 200/300/500-hour registered school with Yoga Alliance ID 198078. After successfully completing all coursework (in person and online) you will receive a 200 or 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate and become qualified to teach anywhere in the world. You will also become eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT Registered Yoga Teacher.

              *At the end of the onsite training you will receive a certificate of completion for the total number of hours (both onsite and online) that you have completed up to that point. You will receive the complete Teacher Training certificate only after you have completed all studies.

              In Bali you will be guided by Kehkashan Nadeem (Pakastan, E-500 RYT), who is a master instructor of the highest level with over 20 years experience. You will also be led by ULU Yoga founder Edward Pawlak (USA, E-500 RYT) who specialises in aerial and created a revolutionary new swing and flying style. Other guest instructors include Salome Hei (Germany, Ashtanga Lead Trainer) and Caspian Burrell (Australia, Acroyoga expert).

              ESSESNTIALS

              Getting Here

              You simply fly into Denpasar (Ngurah Rai International Airport) and get a taxi to your accommodation. The average cost is $20 and takes 30min. Once you are checked in you can rent a motorbike. Or you can order rides via Gojek or Grab. You also get a SIM card at the airport for internet. 

              What To Bring

              There are many shops nearby, so you really don't need to bring anything. But the the essentials include: water bottle, notebook, sunscreen, sandals, water socks, sunglasses. The yoga shala has yoga mats, aerial swings, water and tea. It's recommended to get a SIM card at the airport on arrival for good internet. It's cheap and then you're always connected.

              Please pay your balance 2 weeks before arrival if possible. You must cancel 2 weeks in advance to receive a full refund. After that your deposit is non refundable.
