This Meditation Teacher Training can lead to a profound life changing transformation. Meditation, breathwork and yoga are ancient practices going back thousands of years. They offer insight into the true nature of reality. On this course you may discover the divinity within you by living fully in the present moment. Meditation Practice

Each morning begins with meditation to cultivate mental clarity, concentration, and inner peace. Practices include: vipassana (mindfulness meditation), mantra meditation, meditation, transcendental meditation (TM), loving-kindness meditation, energetic body scanning, guided visualization, trataka (candle gazing), dynamic osho meditation, walking meditation. One night we do sunset meditation on the beach.

Breathwork Practice

Practices include Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing), Kapalabhati (Skull Shining Breath), Bhastrika (Bellows Breath), Ujjayi (Victorious Breath), Sheetali (Cooling Breath), and Sheetkari (Hissing Breath), Nadi Shodhana (Channel Purification), Bhramari (Bee Breath), Holotropic Breathwork, Wim Hof Method, Box Breathing (Square Breathing), Deep Diaphragmatic Breathing (Belly Breathing).

Yoga Practice

Each morning includes a guided practice of hatha or vinyasa yoga. Classes are led by our senior western trainers who have decades of experience. The evenings include restorative yoga, yin yoga or yoga nidra. Each class follows a specific theme to connect with the other meditation and breathwork practices. Classes are beginner friendly and do not require any previous training or advanced level of fitness.

Group Sharing

Let’s get to know each other and connect on a deeper, more personal level. How are you feeling? Why are you here? What are you struggling with in life? How we can modify this course to best serve your individual needs. How can you integrate the teachings of this course back home? How can you share these gifts with others? There may be journaling assignments to do in class or as homework.

Workshops and Lectures

Meditation for Physiological Change, The Science of Breathing Meditation, Philosophy & Traditions of Meditation, Subtle Body - the Energetics of Life, Meditation Techniques and Tools, Yoga Nidra - Relax and Restore, Silence - Experience the Benefits, Class Sequencing for Meditation, Finding Your Authentic Voice, Teaching Skills and Methodology. Design and teach a 60 minute class.

Self Studies

In Bali you should do 1 hour of daily self-study outside of class. This will deepen your understanding and enhance your overall experience. Recommended activities include: reading the training manual, reviewing notes or media from the day's sessions, designing your original yoga class, journal assignments.

Online Studies 

This training includes 5 hours of required online study. You’ll receive over 50 hours of videos covering all course topics. You can choose what material serves you best. Just simply watch or practice along with the videos. You can complete the studies before or after the training.

Additional Treatments

During your break time you can schedule additional treatments. ULU Yoga instructors provide expertly tailored treatments with profound therapeutic benefits. Services include: Life Coaching, EFT (Emotional Focussed Therapy), Craniosacral Therapy, NLP Coaching (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Human Design Reading and Consultation, Meditation Hypnosis, Reiki Therapy.

Skill Level and Requirements

This retreat is open to participants of all ages and experience levels. No prior meditation experience is necessary. We ask that all participants be courteous and respectful toward fellow students and teachers. Please note: this program is not intended as a treatment for mental health conditions.

This retreats feature the same celebrated family of instructors from the ULU Yoga Teacher Trainings, but in a more relaxed setting where you can connect with them on a deeper personal level. Teacher Training Certificate

Participants receive a Meditation Teacher Training Certificate from ULU Yoga, who is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. Most employers will recognize this as a qualified credential to teach meditation. Members of Yoga Alliance can log this course as Continuing Education / Additional Training.

Bonus Online Studies

As a special bonus you will receive over 100 hours of free online training. These videos include practices for Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama, Meditation, and more. If you miss some hours onsite, you can watch some videos as make-up, in order to complete all your required hours.
