              COURSE CONTENT

              Yoga Practice

              Each morning begins with pranayama and meditation, followed by a guided yoga practice of hatha yoga or vinyasa flow yoga with options for beginner and advanced levels. The 200HR builds a strong foundation of classical poses and techniques. The 300HR you will incorporate more challenging manoeuvres such as jump throughs, arm balance and inversion transitions.

              Workshops
              Special classes include 1x week yin yoga, acro yoga, aerial yoga, and class design. 1x SUP yoga (plus you can use the SUP boards in your free time), 1x workshop on pranayama, meditation, teaching methodology, adjustments and more.

                Analytics/Asanas
                Part 1 you will build a solid foundation with 200hr YTT, then part 2 for 300HR go more in depth analysis of core yoga poses, advanced asanas, technique and sequences. Learn about their common foundation and how to build upon it in order to achieve correct alignment and technique. Learn modifications to accommodate different levels, serve special needs.

                Teaching skills
                Each week you will design an original class and teach it 1:1 with another student. This is followed by detailed feedback to become a confident instructor. You will also practice teaching every day during asana lab to gain more experience.

                Anatomy
                Gain a deeper understanding of bodily systems, structures, and principles underlying each movement and of yoga itself. Lean about bones, muscles, fascia, joints and nervous system. Learn how to apply this knowledge to improve your yoga practice. During the onsite training anatomy is intertwined in analytics/asana labs. You will have a dedicated anatomy lecture 1x week. More detailed info is offered on the online studies.

                Philosophy
                Discover your true self and the deeper nature of reality through the sacred wisdom of ancient yogic philosophy. Learn to apply these lessons in the real world to cultivate a holistic lifestyle. Topics include the yoga sutras, 8 limbs, chakras, gunas, ayurveda and more.

                Online Studies

                You will receive the complete 500 hour online course. You will do 300 hours onsite and therefore must do 200 hours online. You can follow the online course as it it designed or skip around and choose what content best suits your specific needs. You should try to complete these studies before the onsite course, but you can work on it after, and take up to two years to completely finish.

                Please note that the onsite portion is limited time. You must study online for more detailed instruction on anatomy, philosophy, asanas and specialized content. If you miss some onsite hours you must do more online work as make up. Therefore ULU Yoga will wait until after the onsite training to evaluate your online work.

                ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

                Beach

                There are so many wonderful beaches to explore just a few minutes walk! The resort has a small private beach. Next door is long and wide Haad Yao beach with nay great restaurants and fun activities. On the other side is Secret beach with shady trees and a relaxing vibe.

                Sauna & Ice Bath

                This course includes 1 free entry to the mystical night sauna. Purge your body of toxins in the hot sauna then rejuvenate with an ice bath Boost your immune system, reduce inflammation and relieve stress.

                LOCATION

                Koh Phangan, Thailand is a world famous magical bohemian paradise with no big crowds or traffic. This course takes place at a beautiful Bounty Resort in Haad Yao.

                ACCOMMODATION

                Bounty Resort is an ocean view paradise surrounded by lush green nature, a private beach, two more beaches next door, delicious restaurant, ATM, and bike rental.

                All rooms have air con, private bathroom, hot water, wifi, balcony, towels, toiletries, tea kettle, and small fridge. Deluxe sea view rooms have large balconies. Wooden garden view and wooden sea view bungalows have have comfy hammocks. Superior garden view and Superior sea view rooms are more modern. Shared rooms have garden view and two beds. Family rooms have two beds and sea view.

                You can also just pay tuition and stay next door at Haad Son Resort or Hi Life Bungalows, which have more upscale accommodation.

                DIET

                Packages with accommodation include a delicious healthy breakfast fresh tropical smoothie bowl, eggs and other favorites. For drinks you can choose juice, tea, or coffee plus there is free water all day. For lunch and dinner (average $6 per meal) you can eat at the resort or explore so many wonderful places in the village and on the beach. Some popular choices include: Loco’s Pizza, Pura Vida, Bubba’s Roastery, Big Mountain, Taboon, Sea Tara, Karma Cafe, Eat Co., Sati Pot, Alcove and Chana Masala.

                CERTIFICATE

                ULU Yoga is a 200/300/500-hour registered school with Yoga Alliance ID 198078After completing this course you will receive a 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate and become qualified to teach anywhere in the world. You can also register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT Registered Yoga Teacher.
