LEVEL 1 & INTERMEDIATE
Beginner and experienced practitioners are both welcome to join the Level 1 YTT. Advanced students, however may prefer to join the Intermediate dates, where you are mixed with 300HR YTT students. You will take all the same classes together onsite, but have different online studies. To join you must have 2 years of consistent yoga practice, submit videos of advanced poses, and complete the online studies before the onsite training. This ensures an equal minimum level for all students.

Level 1 YTT creates a strong foundation with a mix of hatha, vinyasa, yin and ashtanga yoga with options for beginner and advanced levels. Each class includes meditation and pranayama and explores a special theme like inversions, chakra awakening and trauma release.
Intermediate YTT builds upon your existing knowledge, re-examine core yoga asanas, gain insight into their energetic and bio-mechanic qualities, explore next level advanced poses, deepen your teaching skills with hands on adjustments and modifications withprops.
Each evening features a 2 hour workshop in acro yoga, aerial yoga, yin yoga or teaching practice. Once during the training you will do yoga on the beach plus try SUP yoga. You will also receive traditional lectures on pranayama, meditation, teaching methodology, adjustments and more.
Asana Lab Each day you will examine core yoga asanas one by one in detail. You will learn about their common foundation and how to build upon it in order to achieve correct alignment and technique. Learn modifications to accommodate different levels, serve special needs, and achieve advanced poses.
Practice teaching everydayto gain experience. Become a confident instructor ready to go out and teach professionally. Plus each week you will design an original 75min class and teach it 1:1 with another student, followed by detailed feedback from your peers and instructors.
Anatomy Gain a deeper understanding of bodily systems, structures, and principles underlying each movement and of yoga itself. Lean about bones, muscles, fascia, joints and nervous system. Learn how to apply this knowledge to deepen your practice. Anatomy is mixed with daily asana labs.
Philosophy Discover your true self and the deeper nature of reality through the sacred wisdom of ancient yogic philosophy. Learn to apply these lessons in the real world to cultivate a holistic lifestyle. Topics yoga sutras by Patanjali, 8 limbs of yoga, chakras, gunas, doshas, ayurveda and more.
Online Studies You will receive the complete 200 hour online course. You will do 150 hours onsite and 50 hours online. You can follow the online course as it it designed or skip around and choose what content best suits your specific needs. Yoga Alliance recommends to focus on anatomy and philosophy.
Intermediate students must complete these studies before the onsite course, to ensure everyone is at an equal minimal level. Level 1 YTT can take up to two years after the onsite training to completely finish the online studies. If you miss some onsite hours you must do more online work as make up.
ULU Yoga is a 200/300/500HR registered school with Yoga Alliance. After completion of the onsite and online studies you will receive a YTTCertiﬁcate and become qualiﬁed to teach all over the world. You will also beeligible to join Yoga Alliance as a RYT Registered Yoga Teacher.

Bali is a tropical island paradise known as the Island of the Gods. Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful parts of Bali with stunning limestone cliffs, turquoise waters and world famous surfing, hip cafes, beach bars, boutique shops, exotic cuisine, live music, dance, spas and massage.
This training takes place at the gorgeous Le Bamboo, a charming 4 star boutique resort with a stunning ocean view infinity pool, relaxing cafe, beautiful yoga shala surrounded by lush green nature, and 10min ride to Bingin Beach and Dreamland Beach.
There are many luxury and budget accommodations just a short walk from Le Bamboo. You can also just pay tuition only and book your own accommodation.
Onsite - This training takes place at Le Bamboo, a 4 star boutique resort with a gorgeous ocean view infinity pool, relaxing cafe, and beautiful yoga shala. Deluxe bamboo bungalows have air conditioning, desk, wardrobe, fridge, private bathroom, toiletries, and free wi-fi.
4min walk - A private ocean view property with lush gardens, beautiful swimming pool, and small outdoor kitchen. Deluxe bungalows have air conditioning, balcony, private bathroom, toiletries, wardrobe, and free wi-fi. Wooden Bungalows have a bit more simple interior.
4min walk - Enjoy a private ocean view villa with spacious living room, lush gardens, and shared kitchen. The second floor has two ocean view rooms with one shared bathroom. The first floor has two garden view rooms, each with a private bathroom. You have access to the pool next door at Taman Sari.
7min walk - Modern ocean view hotel with a nice pool. Deluxe rooms feature balcony, air-conditioning, private bathroom, wardrobe, one or two beds. There is also a 6 person dorm. The hill is very steep and traffic can be loud in the day time. Read the reviews.
Packages with accommodation include a delicious breakfast. Choose vegan smoothie bowl with exotic tropical fruits, smashed avocado with poached eggs, gluten free buckwheat porridge and other favorites. For drinks you can choose fresh squeezed juice, herbal tea, or local Bali coffee, plus there is free water all day.
For lunch and dinner (average $6 per meal) you can eat onsite or explore the endless boutique cafes, local dinners and beach bars nearby. Excursions One morning you will do SUP Yoga and take amazing pictures flying over the water. In your free time you can visit Uluwatu's amazing beaches, watch the Balinese dance show at Uluwatu temple, go shopping in magical Ubud, swim in waterfalls above the clouds in Munduk, hike 10,000 meters up to Mt. Agung, and bathe in healing hot springs.
Getting Here You simply fly into Denpasar (Ngurah Rai International Airport) and get a taxi to your accommodation. The average cost is $20 and takes 30min. Once you are checked in you can rent a motorbike. Or you can order rides via Gojek or Grab. You also get a SIM card at the airport for internet.
What To Bring
There are many shops nearby, so you really don't need to bring anything. But the the essentials include: water bottle, notebook, sunscreen, sandals, water socks, sunglasses. The yoga shala has yoga mats, aerial swings, water and tea. It's recommended to get a SIM card at the airport on arrival for good internet. It's cheap and then you're always connected.
